Personality:
Grimmy is a usually very calm and calculating character. It takes a lot to get him to lose his ever present smirk and even more to get him angry, surprised or flustered. He loves to take the reigns in anything he does, loves to see people's reactions and calculate what they might do next.
As a man with a great mind however, he does not really believe in love. He is aware that it exists, but thinks himself to be above such trivial nonsense.

Biography:
Grimes was born to a happily married couple, receiving their third child. His mother and father both took great care of their children, but Grimes always seemed a little different to the others. He always seemed busy or lost in thought, barely paying attention to his parents and siblings (or so it seemed). However, he did like to watch things happen. He watched the animals outside, he watched people talking, watched whatever caught his curiosity, not allowing for anything to deter him from his "reasearch".

Once he grew older and learned to talk he started to ask questions. Many, many questions. Nothing uncommon for a curious child, but Grimes wouldn't just stop there once he had the answer. He kept pushing, detailing his questions, giving hiw own opinion about things, soon starting to experiment with things. He soaked up knowledge like a sponge, putting it to use only hours after.

His parents tired of having to answer so many questions, taught him how to read and bought him many books so they could finally go about their day. He didn't mind the change, as long as the information would flow. And how it did. He was reading them so fast, he might as well have been eating them. And everything he learned, he gave a try himself. With this he founnd a love for tinkering, sneaking himself to household appliances and modifying them. Of course there was only mediocre success with that at first, but he wouldn't give up.

He kept learning and growing, experimenting, soaking up information and putting it to use until his teen years where he decided to set out and find his place in life. His parents were worried, but supported him, they knew he could do whatever he wanted and put his mind to. Even if he hadn't been highly intelligent, his ambition alone would have gotten him far.

He took on smaller jobs at first, repairing machines, solving technical problems for different people and small corporations. The more he interacted with people to gain money, the more he noticed that flirting and complimenting was a good way to get a bonus, thus he grew a habit of being perceptive and sly in his approach to get people to do as he wanted them to.

Of course word would travel since he was able to solve any problem, given enough time and once enough money was gathered, he became self sufficient, people now coming to his place to ask for help. To date he is a well employed inventor, working on his own projects whenever he is not being sponsored by investors. He also still has a strong habit about watching people and their reactions, even taking notes as he watches. After all, it was never a bad idea to know how to interact with people, especially if one is amused by their reactions to oneself.
